Adam Griffith - Head Coach, Offensive Line,
Defensive Backs |
|
This is Coach
Griffith’s second year as head coach of the
Minnesota Vixen. It is his fourth year coaching
the Vixen after starting as the defensive
coordinator two years ago and stepping in as
interim head coach as the season wound down. A
life-long passion for the game brought Coach
Griffith to coaching when injuries kept him off
the field. He will be the first to tell you that
he lives and breathes the game of football.
Before coming to the Vixen, Coach Griffith
served as a defensive line coach for the
Minnesota Wolf Pack men’s semi-pro team, taking
over as interim head coach. He also coached for
the Burnsville Athletic Club. |

Brandon Pelinka - Offensive Coordinator,
Quarterbacks, Defensive Line |
|
This is Brandon's
second year with the Vixen. This is his 8th year
coaching. He is currently a youth football coach
in Lakeville, but was recently a youth coach and
administrator in Burnsville's youth football
program. He has also coached traveling
basketball in the Prior Lake school district. He
is a Burnsville High School graduate where he
played football and basketball. He currently
works as an IT help desk technician. His love
for football started when he was a young boy.
Being the youngest of 4 boys in the Pelinka
household, he grew up loving all contact sports
and learned about teamwork, dedication, and
loyalty. Qualities he hopes to instill in his
players today. |

Emilie Sundberg - Offensive Backs, Defensive Backs |
|
Coach Sundberg is
in her seventh season as a coach for the Minnesota
Vixen. Specializing in offensive and defensive
backs, Coach Sundberg played running back,
receiver and defensive back for the Vixen for
six years before retiring as a player to coach
the team. Her athletic background and skills
provided her a full scholarship to Wheeling
Jesuit University for track and field and
soccer. She was a three-time offensive player of
the year on the Bangu (Minnesota select) soccer
team. At Eagan High School, she was a two-time
all American elite and a two-time All-American
in gymnastics. She was the Marine Corps
Distinguished Female Athlete of the Year and
lettered in soccer, gymnastics and track. |

Matt Bohar - Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers,
Receivers |
|
This will be Coach
Bohar’s first year as defensive coordinator with
the Minnesota Vixen, although he was a
consultant in 2011. Coach Bohar has coached high
school and youth football (traveling and inhouse)
for over 13 years in Burnsville, where he was
also a student-athlete at Burnsville High
School. His philosophy is simple: to teach his
players the correct fundamentals and techniques
so that they can have fun playing the game of
football. Everyone likes to win, and he feels
that with good technique and fundamentals …
winning should come naturally if the team
executes and gives 100% effort in practices and
games. |
