Minnesota Vixen:
Women's full-contact, tackle football team
The
Minnesota Vixen are one of the two founding professional
women's football teams in the United States. They began
playing in 1999 with the Lake Michigan Minx, competing
against each other in a series of exhibition games
around the nation to promote the sport of women's
football.
Today, the Vixen
are one of over 75 teams playing around the country.
They are currently in their 13th season overall and
their 3rd season in the Independent Women’s Football
League.
